«Arranz-Bravo. Obres de la Col·lecció Bassat», a Can Caralt
The Museu de Llavaneres (Can Caralt) devotes this summer’s exhibition to the Arranz-Bravo holdings of the Bassat Collection. Opened on 3 July during the La Minerva festivities, it is currently on view.
The Museu de Llavaneres (Can Caralt), in Sant Andreu de Llavaneres, presents “Arranz-Bravo. Obres de la Col·lecció Bassat”, a monographic exhibition devoted to Eduard Arranz-Bravo (Barcelona, 1941 – 2023), drawn from the holdings of collector and advertising man Lluís Bassat.
The Bassat Collection holds one of the largest groups of Arranz-Bravo’s work in private hands: painting, sculpture and works on paper spanning the artist’s career from the early 1960s onwards. In 2020 the Fundació Arranz-Bravo in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat showed a selection of more than fifty pieces; this summer it is Can Caralt that devotes its annual Bassat Collection exhibition to the artist.
The exhibition opened on Friday 3 July 2026, as the opening act of the La Minerva festival, and is currently on view.

«Nodes, fluxos i vibracions», a la Sorbona de París
The exhibition of the Arranz-Bravo holdings of the Suñol Soler Collection travelled to Paris: from 13 November 2025 to 16 January 2026 it was on view at the Centre d’études catalanes, Sorbonne Université.
From 13 November 2025 to 16 January 2026, the Centre d’études catalanes at Sorbonne Université hosted “Nodes, fluxos i vibracions. Arranz-Bravo a la Col·lecció Suñol Soler”, the Paris leg of the exhibition previously presented at the Fundació Suñol in Barcelona.
Curated by Albert Mercadé and organised by the Fundació Suñol in collaboration with the Fundació Arranz-Bravo, the show brought ten works from the Suñol Soler Collection together with one invited piece: the maquette of “L’Acollidora”, on loan from the Fundació Arranz-Bravo. The narrative thread was the relationship between the artist, the gallerist Fernando Vijande and the collector Josep Suñol.

«Nodes, fluxos i vibracions», a la Fundació Suñol
The Fundació Suñol presented in Barcelona “Nodes, fluxos i vibracions. Arranz-Bravo a la Col·lecció Suñol Soler”: a dozen works from the 1970s and 1980s, most never exhibited before, curated by Albert Mercadé.
On 19 September 2025 the Fundació Suñol opened “Nodes, fluxos i vibracions. Arranz-Bravo a la Col·lecció Suñol Soler”, a reading of the Arranz-Bravo holdings in Josep Suñol Soler’s collection, curated by Albert Mercadé and organised in collaboration with the Fundació Arranz-Bravo.
The exhibition brought together a dozen works, most of them never shown before, painted in the 1970s and 1980s: a period of intense colour, corrosive humour and subversive intent, exemplified by pieces such as “New York my love” (1971), “Zumero du Senegal” (1978) and “Per Caravaggio” (1983). The curatorial narrative traced the triangle that made that moment possible: the artist, the gallerist Fernando Vijande and the collector Josep Suñol.
After Barcelona, the exhibition travelled to the Centre d’études catalanes at Sorbonne Université, Paris.
